Our MODULE BOX is exactly the right choice for anyone wanting to start with one or two rooms and later expand them into a house. The module boxes can be easily placed on top of each other and fastened on the back with two screws.

The full-length balcony is part of the Villa Tara's MDF panel kit, which can be attached as an option. The balcony railing (#70321), the balcony corner pillars (#70300) and the white roof gable with the "Mini Mundus crown" (special design) are not included in the scope of delivery.

Safety transformer,

Protected on the input side by a current-sensitive temperature switch 110°C, with self-holding function (combined protection against overtemperature and overcurrent).

Note:

If the transformer overheats (overloads), the built-in thermal switch briefly switches the transformer off to protect the system.

IMPORTANT: The temperature switch does NOT reset itself after a fault. This is for safety reasons to prevent unintentional restarting. To reset the built-in temperature switch, the transformer must be completely disconnected from the power supply for a few minutes.

Connected loads:
12 Volt= / 2 A, (230 V~ primary), suitable for a max. of 30 incandescent lamps.

The transformer is plugged directly into the socket and has a 90 cm long 2-core cable with luster terminal at the 12V output for connection to the distribution plate (# 22300) or to our socket strips.

You can use the 2-wire cable (# 22200) to extend the 90 cm long connection cable.

Self-adhesive aluminium mosaic, brushed

Colouring:
Using a quick-drying synthetic resin paint from a spray can (e.g. car paint), the tiles can be easily painted in any desired color - without sealing the grout joints with the paint.

The surfaces of our mosaic tiles are made of aluminium in an elaborate process and applied with high precision to a self-adhesive backing material.

Grouting:
Grouting of the joints, which are only 0.75 mm wide, is not necessary. However, if you prefer a coloured grout, make sure that you use a grout for glass or metal tiles that is made without quartz sand, as this can otherwise damage the lacquered surface. You can find suitable products in DIY stores.

Frieze for wall tiles:
For the borders above the tiled surface, there are five different patterns (81000) on glossy cardboard from which you can cut out the matching border.

Tile patterns:
Simply cut out individual tiles from the tile sheet with a sharp carpet knife - before gluing the tiles - and replace them - after gluing the tile sheet - with tiles that have been painted in colour in advance, so you can create the most beautiful creations. The small arch with tiles (# 81130) is ideal for this, as it is easier to paint the tiles on the sheet than individual tiles.

Modification:

The second picture shows another design example. The piece is painted antique nickel and then heavily distressed (shabby look). For the back wall of the shelf, a striped wallpaper was used and the feet were replaced by slightly higher ones. (Photo by dollhouse_smithery)

Our LED battery Minis are really something special, made from brass, which are equipped with LEDs that light up with a warm white light, similar to the light from a light bulb.

The battery and a small switch are located at the base of the lamp.

The MinLux LED battery minis are ideal for the module boxes, as there is no need for cabling and the cost of purchasing a transformer.

The scope of delivery includes an adhesive pad and a 3 V lithium battery (button cell) of type CR 927, which you can reorder as a replacement under item no. 26310.

In the second picture, light green chalk paint was used, which was wiped off in some places after painting to create a 'shabby chic look'. To modify the cupboard doors, you can saw out the window cut-outs from the two doors (part 7 of the kit) with a fretsaw or build the door frame yourself using four small strips. Fabric 50941 was used for the cut-outs. The white knobs come from a round wooden stick where small pieces were cut off and painted white. (Photo by @wildwood_miniatures)

In Picture 3 and 4, the lower and upper parts of the cabinet were built up individually and painted in the colour 'antique nickel'. Subsequently, the pieces of furniture were sanded till suitably aged. The fittings were darkened. (Photo by @dollhouse_smithery)
