Self-adhesive aluminium mosaic, brushed.

Using a quick-drying synthetic resin paint from a spray can (e.g. car paint), the tiles can be easily painted in any desired color - without sealing the grout joints with the paint.

The surfaces of our mosaic tiles are made of aluminium in an elaborate process and applied with high precision to a self-adhesive backing material.
Grouting:
Grouting of the joints, which are only 0.75 mm wide, is not necessary. However, if you prefer a coloured grout, make sure that you use a grout for glass or metal tiles that is made without quartz sand, as this can otherwise damage the lacquered surface. You can find suitable products in DIY stores.
Frieze for wall tiles:
For the borders above the tiled surface, there are five different patterns (81000) on glossy cardboard from which you can cut out the matching border.
Tile patterns:
Simply cut out individual tiles from the tile sheet with a sharp carpet knife - before gluing the tiles - and replace them - after gluing the tile sheet - with tiles that have been painted in colour in advance, so you can create the most beautiful creations. The small arch with tiles (# 81130) is ideal for this, as it is easier to paint the tiles on the sheet than individual tiles.
You will find more detailed tips in the following product description (click on "Learn more") and in the accompanying leaflet for the tiles.

product description
Wall and floor tiles, 18 x 27
Important notice:
The surfaces of our mosaic tiles are made of aluminium in an elaborate process and applied with high precision to a self-adhesive backing material. After removing the red protective film, the entire sheet with the tiles can be stuck onto walls or floors.
Make sure that the surfaces are dust-free and that the first layer is carefully positioned at a right angle, as subsequent shifting of the tiles, due to the high adhesive strength, is not possible.
Colouring:
The tiles can be sprayed in any desired colour using a quick-drying synthetic resin paint (e.g. car paint) from a spray can!
Tip: If you place the tile mat for painting in an open cardboard box placed on the front side, you avoid spreading a paint mist in the room and at the same time have sufficient distance to the tiles. This way, you have your own paint box available at all times.
For painting - before gluing the tile panels - apply the coloured resin spray paint in several layers onto the entire tile network. However, please make sure that the individual layers of paint dry thoroughly in between before applying another layer. If the joints are closed by a light layer of paint, then you can simply open them up again - after the layer of paint has dried - by bending the tile mat backwards along the joints so that the joints open up again. The result will certainly convince you, as each further layer results in a mirror-like high-gloss surface with the small typical roundings at the edges of the individual tile.
Detailed working instructions are enclosed with each tile pack.
Frieze for wall tiles:
For the borders above the tiled surface, there are five different patterns (81000) on glossy cardboard from which you can cut out the matching border. The difference in height to the tiles is simply compensated by a strip of cardboard.
Be inspired by our miniature bathroom and the different tile patterns.
